Impressionist still life - Anneke Kimmel (1932-2018)

Anneke Kimmel was a well-known and eccentric artist from Heusden. It is distinguished by its impressionist and unique style. In her work, the representation is not about an objective registration of reality, but mainly the subjective and own perception is leading. The combination of atmosphere, color and light make her works unique. She has mainly focused on impressionist still lifes and portraits in oil, but also in watercolor.

 Anneke Kimmel has had exhibitions in her life in various galleries and museums in the Netherlands and internationally such as in Belgium, London and New York.
